NaphCare is a leading provider of health care services for correctional facilities across the United States. In January of 1989, Jim McLane founded Correctional Pharmacy Services, Inc. (the company now known as NaphCare) to provide pharmaceutical services to correctional facilities. In 1995, NaphCare entered the correctional dialysis market after being awarded the on-site dialysis contract by the State of Alabama Department of Corrections. In 1998, NaphCare was awarded its first multi-year contract to provide comprehensive medical services in the correctional arena.
NaphCare continues to recognize the importance of diversity within the correctional health care industry. Since 2003, NaphCare has been awarded multiple contracts with the Federal Bureau of Prisons to provide network management and third party administration.
