Project Leader – Part-Time
North Cliff is a consumer product market research company. We conduct studies for local, national, and international companies, testing cosmetics, personal care products, food, fragrance and over-the-counter drugs.
Primary Responsibility: Provide professional interactions with clients and consumers to collect accurate data and feedback for our clients by following a protocol with great attention to detail. While working with Project Managers to process necessary documents and tasks for all aspects of the initiation, conduct and reporting of sensory studies. Core competencies and related areas of responsibility: The ability and comfort to work independently of others as well as with the team, to meet team goals and expectations. The ability and comfort to work on multiple tasks and change directions within short periods of time. Managing pre-study tasks such as product inventory, test cooks and documentation, ballot drafting.Managing post study tasks such as data input, data analysis, report preparation. A high sense of urgency and foresight.
· Anticipating and organizing upcoming work and “staying ahead” of the work load.· Meeting or beating report dates.
A high level of ability and comfort working with details.
· Reading and interpreting internal study request forms.· Communicate routine and non-routine issues with clarity.· Maintain study schedule communications.· Draft ballots to meet requirements of Project Manager and study design.· Product inventory· Conduct test cooks in taste area.· Data entry· Processing routine statistical and non-statistical data.· Preparing and proofreading study reports.
The ability to effectively and professionally interact with clients.
· Speaking with clients on the phone.· Dealing with routine clerical requests from clients.· Face to face interactions during visits.
The ability to see and bring to the attention of management opportunities for process improvement. · Critically evaluate the processes and procedures you are conducting and recommend changes for improvement. A great deal of common sense and self-confidence and “grace under pressure”.
The ability to sit, stand, bend, walk, and lift up to 30lbs.The flexibility to work during traditional business hours, up to 5 days a week and the ability to flex up to 8 hours per day as needed.
Experience:
· Experience in high detail environments · Experience in high output environments · Above average computer skills · Market research experience a plus!
